
Arts Muster organises a program of arts and crafts workshops for adults on the last weekend of August every year. In 2026, this will be on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August at the Huskisson Public School.
This is a small event, with around 10 two-day workshops within the school grounds, creating a collegiate atmosphere among the tutors and participants. We encourage you to apply to become a Tutor in 2026!

1. Workshop Format & Dates
The Commitment: Tutors are engaged to deliver a two-day workshop on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August, 2026.
Hours: Standard workshop hours are 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily, with a half-hour setup at 9:30 AM and a half-hour lunch break.
Location: Workshops are held at Huskisson Public School, Sydney Road Huskisson, Jervis Bay NSW 2540. You will be notified of your specific venue well in advance.
2. Fees & Payment
The Tutor Fee: Arts Muster pays a day rate of $650 plus a maximum of $30 per student for materials kits (see below).
Payment Timeline: Invoices are paid via EFT within 21 days of the event's conclusion,.
GST: If you are registered for GST, please ensure your ABN and GST status are correctly noted in your application. GST will be paid in addition to the base fee where applicable.
3. Materials & Kits
Student Requirements: Tutors must provide a clear "Student Requirements List" (items the student must bring) included in the application form.
Materials Kits: If you provide a kit, the cost must be paid directly to you by the student on the first morning of the workshop. Arts Muster does not handle kit transactions.
4. Travel, Food & Accommodation
Travel: Tutors are responsible for their own transport to and from the event.
Meals: Tutors are responsible for their own meals and beverages. Arts Muster will engage a local cafe to take lunch orders each morning. Arts Muster will provide a morning tea for all participants on the first day of the event, along with tea and coffee stations during the event.
Accommodation: Arts Muster is a community-run event. We are happy to offer complimentary billeting with a "Friend of Arts Muster" (a local host) for tutors travelling from outside the region. If you prefer a hotel or private rental, this will be at your own expense.
5. Marketing & Promotion
Usage Rights: By submitting your EOI, you grant Arts Muster permission to use your provided images and biography for digital and print marketing.
Co-Promotion: We love it when you share. We will provide you with social media tiles and other marketing assets to help promote your workshop to your own following.
6. Cancellations
Minimum Numbers: Arts Muster reserves the right to cancel a workshop if minimum student numbers are not met by 1 August 2026. In this case, no tutor fee is payable. Each workshop needs a minimum of 8 students and a maximum of 10 students.
Tutor Withdrawal: If you must withdraw due to unforeseen circumstances, and we understand this happens sometimes, please provide as much notice as possible so we can notify students and attempt to find a replacement.
